Foundation Health Partners is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North.   

 

The Opportunity:

This position will work in our fast-paced, state-of-the-art Porter Heart clinic with a dedicated, passionate team. This role offers many diverse opportunities with both clinic care, inpatient coverage as well as block days for Cath lab procedures. Partners with administration and staff to support strategic and operational plans. Works collaboratively toward needed improvements. This position is well supported, both administratively and organizationally, and housed in a dynamic work environment.

 

  • Compensation: $600k base pay. $65K Sign-on bonus. Expected compensation with production pay projected between  $900,000-1,200,000 per year.  Eligible for an annual  $10k physician incentive quality metric bonus.
  • Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic.  STEMI call – variable night/weekend and holiday call. 7 weeks ATO, 2 weeks CME 
  • Patient Panel: Outpatient setting offering patients short and long-term management of heart-related conditions.
  • Team: Robust and collaborative cardiovascular team consisting of 3 interventional cardiologists and 4 advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.

Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.

 

Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement. Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills. Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care. Must be willing to update skills constantly.
